November 13 was the initial start date for student athletes signing letters of intent to play division I and II at the college level.  Wamogo is pleased to report that two of our student athletes have signed letters of intent.

Samantha Sylvester has signed with Franklin Pierce University in New Hampshire to play softball.  She boasted a combined record of 30-7 with 315 strikeouts and only 11 walks over the last two seasons.  Samantha is ranked 5th in her class with a 4.450 GPA. She is expected to thrive at the college level both in the classroom and on the field.

Justin Emanuel signed a Letter of Intent with Division 1 Wagner College on Staten Island to pitch for the Seahawks beginning in the fall of 2020.  Justin has developed his baseball skills with Tri-Town Baseball of Litchfield, Wamogo baseball, Waterbury Hit Club and, most recently, Boys of Summer in Derby. The senior lefthanded pitcher has dreamed of pitching at the Division 1 level since he started playing for Pete Vermilyea in Babe Ruth baseball for Tri-Town.  We wish both Samantha and Justin the best of luck next year!
