Grade 10 Student Success Plan (SSP) Overview

To build a college/career-ready culture for all students, the school counselors facilitate a program that may include the following tasks:

- Strengths Explorer Inventory
- Academic Review
- Standardized Testing (PSAT NMSQT)
- Individual Meetings with Parent(s)/Guardian(s) and Counselor
- Wamogo College Fair
- Career Exploration
- Course Selection and Registration

Naviance Career Interest Profiler

During their 10th grade year, students complete the "Career Interest Profiler" exercise in their Naviance Student portal.

The purpose of this program is to help students discover the types of work activities and careers that match their interests. The counselors then assist them in exploring the levels of preparation, corresponding majors and college, high school courses, and community-based opportunities that relate to their matched occupations.

PSAT NMSQT Information
