Congratulations to Joseph Sylvester for beating the Wamogo Regional High School swim record in the 500 freestyle!

Ian Sideris broke the Wamogo Middle School swim record in the 50 Breaststroke! Way to go Ian!

Congratulations to Anderson Warshaw!  Anderson  performed in the All-National Concert Band on trombone. The festival was held at the Gaylord Resort in Orlando Florida from November 7th through November 10th. Anderson competed against students from all over the country to earn a seat.

Courtney Korner placed 10th in the nation for the Food Products and Processing Category at the National FFA Agriscience Fair Competition on October 31.  Way to go, Courtney!

November 13 was the initial start date for student athletes signing letters of intent to play division I and II at the college level.  Wamogo is pleased to report that two of our student athletes have signed letters of intent.

Samantha Sylvester has signed with Franklin Pierce University in New Hampshire to play softball.  She boasted a combined record of 30-7 with 315 strikeouts and only 11 walks over the last two seasons.  Samantha is ranked 5th in her class with a 4.450 GPA. She is expected to thrive at the college level both in the classroom and on the field.

Justin Emanuel signed a Letter of Intent with Division 1 Wagner College on Staten Island to pitch for the Seahawks beginning in the fall of 2020.  Justin has developed his baseball skills with Tri-Town Baseball of Litchfield, Wamogo baseball, Waterbury Hit Club and, most recently, Boys of Summer in Derby. The senior lefthanded pitcher has dreamed of pitching at the Division 1 level since he started playing for Pete Vermilyea in Babe Ruth baseball for Tri-Town.  We wish both Samantha and Justin the best of luck next year!
